All About lil o' Me

My photo
Just call me your Budget Barista. I have been married for 20 years to the best man on this planet. He's sweet, caring, kind, but most of all he makes me laugh. We have Three adorable kids. A beautiful sweet pea girl, A 'superman' boy, and a love bug baby girl. We just love that we live where people vacation...where the ocean meets the sky. We live a wonderful life. I love my life and I thank Christ for giving it to me. Some random things about me are I enjoy baking, quilting, paper crafting, jewelry making, scrapbooking, and loving on my family. I am a Princess in the Kingdom of the King of Kings, diet coke drinking baby kisser. We are a homeschooling family but are part of a hybrid program where the children attend a 'classroom' 2 days a week and we do the rest at home. It's a blast. We also love to vacation and explore God's world around us. I think that's enough for now. :-)

June 26-27, 2010- TEMECULA - Street Painting Festival.

Old Town Temecula Street Painting Festival spectators can jump right in by painting their own work of art and it's FREE! Over 100 muralists and visual artists create giant pastel murals. Families, children, and beginners join in the creative endeavor in the family section where more than 500 smaller squares are blocked out for spectators to paint with pastels on the asphalt canvas.

Street Painting awards are given on Sunday at 3:30 after the last mural is completed. Professional artists from cities throughout Southern California paint many of the estimated 300 murals on the asphalt of Old Town Temecula's streets. Street Painting Festival coincides with the Ralph Love Plein Air Festival. Call (951) 506-5100 or email

You can even see painting at night on Friday and Sat. nights. Think black and white or monochromatic!

Hours are Friday, June 25, 6-9 p.m.; Saturday, June 26, 7 a.m. to 9 p.m.; and Sunday, June 27, 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
