Did you know there are 14 dog parks in Orange County?
Each year cities add space for Fido and his friends to play, free of leashes. Now take the kids and Fido and go have some fun. don't forget the camera!
The Register has mapped municipal dog parks across the county. Visitors can send us photos from their dog-park experiences and we'll add them to the map.
E-mail photos and some details to Pets Editor Samantha Gowen at sgowen@ocregister.com. Please include "dog park" in the subject line.
A few rules about dog parks:
- Dogs must be off-leash to avoid tension among the animals.

- Most dog parks offer areas for small or large dogs.
- No food is allowed inside the dog parks.
- Please clean up after your own pet.
- Dog parks are funded by nonprofit volunteers. Check at your city dog park to see how you can help to keep the parks clean and operational.
