Last year we went and had a BLAST!! We even entered our littlest one in their Berry Berry Beautiful Baby Pageant , we didn't win but I have to say we thought she was the cutest strawberry Princess there! It was fun trying too.

The Garden Grove Strawberry Festival is not only one of the largest community festivals in the western US, but also one of the oldest. The festival became and has always been a charitable event benefiting local organizations. In the past 50 years over $4.5 million has been donated to hundreds of non-profits.
Throughout the years, the world’s largest strawberry shortcake (which local paper reported to have weighed as much as 500 pounds), has been the centerpiece of the festival’s opening ceremonies. This Four day event will keep you and your family busy with many things to do and see such as carnival rides (over 30 of them!), largest strawberry shortcake, parades, talent contests, kareoke, marchings bands, clowns, bands, contests, vendors and lots of food.
Admission is FREE, wristband for carnival rides is approx. $25 - 40.
