All About lil o' Me

My photo
Just call me your Budget Barista. I have been married for 20 years to the best man on this planet. He's sweet, caring, kind, but most of all he makes me laugh. We have Three adorable kids. A beautiful sweet pea girl, A 'superman' boy, and a love bug baby girl. We just love that we live where people vacation...where the ocean meets the sky. We live a wonderful life. I love my life and I thank Christ for giving it to me. Some random things about me are I enjoy baking, quilting, paper crafting, jewelry making, scrapbooking, and loving on my family. I am a Princess in the Kingdom of the King of Kings, diet coke drinking baby kisser. We are a homeschooling family but are part of a hybrid program where the children attend a 'classroom' 2 days a week and we do the rest at home. It's a blast. We also love to vacation and explore God's world around us. I think that's enough for now. :-)

Laid off...free fun for you at the fair!!

Laid off? FREE FAIR FUN!!

If you’re out of work, and can prove it, then you can have some fun for FREE this Tuesday at the San Diego County Fair in Del Mar.
On June 29, the fair is offering FREE admission to people who’ve been laid off from their jobs, if they bring in their most recent unemployment check or unemployment pay stub, within the last 12 months.  Each admission is good for two people. Normal admission price is $13.
Also, all children are FREE on both Tuesdays, whether their parents are unemployed or not.
And Tuesday is Taste of the Fair, where vendors have a “taster” sized portion of one of their food offerings for $2.  A family with an unemployed parent and kids 12 and younger would be able to have a FREE or low-cost day at the Fair.
“The grandstand entertainment on both Tuesdays is FREE with admission too, as well as the other 6 stages and ground entertainment. Guests can park FREE at the Horsepark Equestrian Center and folks can bring their lunch and store it at Guest Services. Basically you can have an entire day at the Fair for no cost,” Fair General Manager Timothy Fennell said in a press release announcing the freebie.
